Some people are allergic to hair colour products. For this reason, it is a good idea to do a patch or sensibility test prior to use ANY hair dye.
What is the patch test?
Before starting the dyeing process, you must make sure that the skin and scalp will not react to the dye that you will apply.
Patch test helps to determine whether a person is allergic to any of a range of substances which are applied to the skin.
Patch test: you should take a sample of the colouring tube, apply it on the skin (on the inside of the arm or behind the ear) and leave this sample during 48h. If you do not have any reaction, you can start the dyeing process.
NaturVital recommends you to do a PATCH TEST 48 hours before applying any colour, details are contained on the instructions found in pack.
How to do a patch test
- Cleanse a small area of skin on the inner forearm or behind the ear with alcohol.
- Apply a small amount of the contents of the tube of Colour Cream and let dry without rinsing.
- Up to 48 hours and check for a reaction to the two components.
- If after 48 hours there is no itching or redness, process with the application of the product.
